See, the problem with trying to make homemade Turkey gravy on Thanksgiving is that you need roasted turkey bones to make a really good broth base. And you don't normally get turkey bones until AFTER you eat Thanksgiving dinner! And that's where this product comes in! This gravy base is perfect for fall/Thanksgiving meals because it allows you to make a very good gravy from " scratch" on those occasions when you don't have a whole turkey's worth of bones available to be roasted and simmered for broth.
Full disclaimer, I am a huge fan of all the flavors Better than Bullion makes and have at least half a dozen flavors in my refrigerator at any given time. One word of caution: This product is salty so if you are adding this as an ingredient to other dishes, refrain from salting your dish until after this base is incorporated. Also, if you are watching your salt intake, even the low sodium versions of these gravy bases are pretty salty.
