I suppose the product is fine, but it arrived, after I paid for rush shipping, in a dented tin, and I couldn't use it as a hostess gift, as I had intended. And, if the tin was dented, do you think the cookies inside are intact?

My first experience with these cookies was having them served with a tall mug of Extra-Special Irish Coffee. That has stuck with me for many years, and now I can duplicate it. The cookies arrived wrapped two to a tissue paper twist (serving size). Inside the tin, the lovely paper-twisted pairs were enclosed in two separate sealed cellophane bags. The cookies themselves were crispy on the outside with an ever-so-slight chew to the inside. These cookies are not super sweet. They have a slight bitterness to them, and when they are served with a warm, sweet drink the flavors balance out nicely (IMHO). The tins are simply beautiful and perfect. I didn't have any problems with difficult stickers. They arrived carefully wrapped within their own boxes. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
