I would gather many people enjoy these with sentimental feelings about their childhood. I'm not Italian or Catholic and this is my first time ever hearing of this candy. I decided to purchase as the ingredients looked more wholesome in comparison to many other sweets. The wrapping also looks like something special.

My impression - the nougat is absolutely soft and delicious and just the right sweetness. I do not regret buying these at all. One thing I didn't like, is in about every bite there are whole almonds. As I finished of the box and shared with friends, I thought I would like this candy better if most of the almonds were ground up, rather than whole.

I looked on Amazon for similar candies and found a few where they describe it as a soft nougat, and in the picture, it doesn't appear there are as many whole almonds. I just ordered a different brand to see if there is one that has more crushed almonds rather than so many whole almonds. I still enjoyed this and would consider ordering this again. Would recommend to anyone to try.

I've had Torrone candy from other brands and I was really impressed with the flavor and texture of these. They are puffy and seem to melt in your mouth. Each piece is individually wrapped and boxed. Next time I want Torrones I will be ordering more from La Florentine. My only problem is that these disappear quickly in my house!

I can't express how amazing these candies are. I found them by chance while buying another exotic sweet and let me tell you, it's a explosion of taste and flavor! The coolest part is that I found out that my coworker used to eat these as a child while her and her family were stationed overseas, she says they taste just like the ones from her childhood. You haven't lived till you try these, I've already finished the box 💚

If you like this style of Italian candy, your in for a real treat! If you have never had such confection, you owe it to you and yours, to try it. The quality is all it should be and the taste is spot on. We like to give this candy as presents. Our family and friends enjoy it. This company makes other Italian confections, and they are all tasty.

OMG! DELICIOUS!! This treat brings back sweet memories of treats from my Italian grandfather. La Florentine Torrone has only gotten better over time. Delivered in box of 18 individual boxes that are cute especially when given to children (they love the little boxes!). The Torrone is sealed in a foil bag inside the little box; keeps it moist and chewy. LOVED the flavors in the Assortment Box. I am buying more for my guests.
