This item is awesome--it's such a fun, healthy, simple way to cook. The only thing is that I think as a single gal I should have gone with a smaller one. I sometimes just use one level of the steamer. Also, it's big so *just* fits on top of my 10" saute pan.

I really love my bamboo steamer. I make veggie dumplings all the time - you need a little bit of oil to prevent sticking to the steamer. Perhaps I haven't found the secret way of getting them to not stick, though. Either way, my friends LOVE when I bring out the steamer for gatherings. It's a fun prop for gatherings. It's held up well over the years.
