Works and was the cheapest one I could find at the time; perfect for drilling/duct taping to the steering column of my 85 2.9l v6 Ranger, so I can see exactly how bad the carb is tuned for idle and watch the EEC-IV ignition + throttle position cam screw up my revs during shifting!

EXACTLY what I needed for my non-serious cruiser. I wanted something small, adjustable to make the red line RPM number "straight up," and easy to install. The mounting flange didn't fit my steering column perfectly, so I added a few turns of good electrical tape to the column to provide a little more grip. A large worm clamp finished off the mounting. Some folks have had some issues of these "cheap" tachs not working with their fancy MSD equipment, but mine had no problems using the MSD Ready-to Run distributor
