Should Be Able to Choose A Color

This arrived today, and I was very disappointed to open the package and find a magenta carrier. The design itself is good, there's enough room for my guinea pig inside, but I'm just not a fan of anything pink. I would try to exchange it for a different color, but I'm worried I'll get the same thing or something even uglier. Four stars for the lack of color choice, but it otherwise would have been five.
UPDATE: Since using this for my guinea pig's vet appointment, I've downgraded from 4 stars to 2. There isn't much support on the bottom, and the front vent doesn't let in much light, so he was pretty much sitting in the dark. My advice is to spend a bit more on a better quality plastic carrier.

Nice carrier for medium bird, but sent wrong color

Nice pet carrier but came in an ugly eggplant purple when I ordered pink as shown on website. Was in a time crunch as this is a car travel bag for my Hahns MacCaw and she had chewed through her old carrier so didnt have time to return for correct color. Besides the color good carrier, my bird walks in happily and I can unzip part of the front mesh window and rub her beak if she gets anxious.

I saw the review about the strong chemical odor and decided to take a chance anyway. It looked like a great carrier for my parakeet. That was the wrong choice. It is really strong. The crate itself is great. But after airing it out for 2 weeks it still smelled bad. Strong chemical smells can kill birds so I returned it. I don't know about other small animals, but it's not good for birds.
Good quality EXCEPT for the stitching around the MESH opening. My small pet would QUICKLY & EASILY chew or claw through it.

"Medium" size would indicate it would be large enough for my smallish cat, but she barely fit into it. The attached label had a picture of a hamster on it, so that should indicate what it's sized for! The zipper openings are useless too; my cat was able to claw her way out in a matter of minutes.
