I was a complete cynic when I ordered this product but the reviews persuaded me to give it a try - I'm so pleased I did! My Border Terrier had started having full blown multiple seizures out of the blue when she was fourteen and a half and I honestly thought that this was the end for her. She was having two or three in the space of 24 hours at intervals of exactly eleven days - it was horrible for us to watch and obviously terrifying and debilitating for her. I didn't want to put her through all of the tests and scans that a vet would have insisted upon and I had heard too many horror stories about vets not being able to get the right dosages etc so I scanned the internet for alternative remedies and kept coming back to Doc Ackerman's because of the quantity of positive reviews. Although administering the powder is a struggle because my Katie is very picky and will refuse moist food, I have learned to mix it with a little water and spoon the liquid into her mouth a dribble at a time - most of it gets in that way! I split the dose into two and give her one morning and one evening. She started the medication a few days before her 11 day seizure cycle was up and she did still have two on the day as expected, but I continued with the powder and she has now been seizure free for 22 days! I am so grateful to have our baby back to almost normal! I am also using a teaspoon of raw virgin coconut oil per day, which she enjoys as a reward, in the hope that it will help maintain mental alertness for her. So, fingers crossed, we have a seizure free doggy, thanks to Doc Ackerman's formula and, in addition, she has regained a little of her joy of life and wants to play again - I'd say it's worth giving it a try. By the way - I wish there was a British supplier of this product as I'm so worried that I will run out and not be able to source it quickly enough.

DID NOT WORK PEROID - I started this on 1/8/14 as per the instructions and my small dog has had a seizure on 1/15, 1/19/ 1/25 .Before starting this snake oil my small dog would have a seizure about every two weeks so if anything it has made it worse. I was sure hoping it would work but it did not. Just a word to the wise, after trying this and it not helping at all I contacted Amazon and got an email reply from the seller that states - We are sorry that it did not work but since you opened it we can not refund! How can you test it without opening it?, That alone should warm you that you are just wasting your money, I would have been happy to purchase this from now on if it would have help any at all - just another rip off.
I am not sure where all the positive reviews came from but I am sure you can Guess.
If the Positive reviews are real then I am very HAPPY for you but as for me wish I had saved my money, but I will try something else and most likely will be ripped OFF again. You can check out all my reviews, I only give a review for a product that deserves one.

UPDATE: 5/8/14 - I may have not waited long enough for it to start working at first. I have now used the rest of the first bottle and finished the second one. My small dog had a seizure on 4/11/14 and did not have another untill 5/6/14 24 days, that is the longest period of time she has ever gone without one so i just ordered more from naturalpetdiscount for $7.69 , I have changed my review to 4 stars I just hope that it was what helped.

Update: 9/28/14 Changed to 5 STARS - I have now been using this for over 6 months and it is really working, vet had little dog on phenobarbital that was not helping near as much as this, the reason I had to find something else is the cost for vet, they wanted to do test 2 or 3 times year at cost of $75 to $180 per test and little dog was still having a seizure about every week then to top it all would not give me a prescription so I could purchase med about 1/4 the price he was charging so I tried a few other herbal meds and none really helped, but this one has greatly helped seizures from 4 or more per month down to 1 about every three weeks now, so I do recommend that you try it and hopefully it will work for your pet also. I just ordered 3 more.

Our ten year old Scottish Terrier started having bouts of seizures starting about two years ago. He will have up to six or seven in one 24 hour period and then go for three to five month seizure free. I give him vitamin e oil, S Support by Prana Pets, and hemp oil but thought adding Doc Ackerman's formula would help defend against the hated seizures. We have been in remission for six to eight weeks now and pray every day to keep old MacTavish seizure free. Will update as time goes on.

So been using this product for 8 months now. My furbaby now has seizures now for a year. This product did work for the first few months. It separated her seizures for a little over 2 months and we were so happy. She would get the seizures either every 2 weeks or within a month. And she has cluster seizures where she would have 2 horrible days of terrible seizures. Fast forward to now, I don't know what happened but she is getting the seizures again every 2 weeks. I am devastated. This was working just fine. I don't know why all of a sudden it's not working. So now I'm looking for other alternatives. She is on vet meds too but those don't seem to be helping much. I recently ordered 2 new containers to have available and unfortunately I may not use them.. I will not course still use this til I find another alternative for her.

This works better than medication (pills) this product is great for all dogs
