Mercy!! I may have to tell my children it got lost in the move. I LOVE the concept and creative play. And will probably let them keep it and play with it... outside - where those dB levels belong!

Best toy! It seems like not much but it is very clever. It provides hours of creative fun with building and music. I highly recommend. I've purchased several as gifts after receiving one for my son as a gift. Also a great one to pass down as it doesn't get too much wear and tear even after a lot of use.

Wow. I can't say enough about this toy. My kids, ages three and six, absolutely love this. It is a genius idea, and perfect for a child with or without musical ability. My children like to take marble runs and make their own pretend instruments out of them, so I knew this would be a hit. It is well-made, and priced well. This would make a great birthday gift for a boy or a girl ages four through six.

When I first bought this for my son, he was 3. He basically ignored it. I even thought about getting rid of it, since it just sat and collected dust. Other kids would play with it when they visited our house, but he wasn't interested. Then he turned 4, and he started playing with it. Now it's one of the toys he plays with daily. He makes everything from ninja weapons to robots, and he absolutely loves it. He used to make the "flute" but he rarely does anymore. I am planning on buying the Tubation set for Christmas. I'm so glad now that I kept it.

Basically, you build your own instrument -- and then take it apart and rebuild in endless different configurations. The pitch that comes out depends on how many pieces you have used, and in what particular shape.
All plastic parts mean it can be used even in the bathtub or swimming pool. This is a fun toy, and although the box recommends it for three-year olds I've seen kids up to seven spend quite a while playing with it.
Recommended.
