I've used it for years with good results.

There are better options if cost is no problem. This works great for me. I use a eheim 1320 gph pump to mix the day before I do a water change. I also do water changes every 2-3 weeks to avoid using chemicals.
Awesome until the price was raised from $55 (approx

Awesome until the price was raised from $55 (approx.) to $86 for the 200G box. This is salt not crude oil!!! My LFS sells this for $54 but they are far away - totally worth the drive

*EDIT*
Price is back down to normal - Thanks for explaining that to me.
Stop buying saltwater from the pet store

All you need is a food safe trash can. A water pump, and a refractometer.

I love the reef crystals brand and this is the best price. In store you can get 10 gallons of salt for 15-20 dollars..... or just go ahead and get your salt ever 6 months-1 year with this.

Also I have a dwarf seahorse 5 gallon, brine shrimp enrichment containers and hatcheries and a 36 gallon bowfront with a sump I plumbed myself. This is my favorite salt for my tanks!!
Very nice quality. Happy with purchase

Fast shipping, exactly as described. Very nice quality. Happy with purchase. Much better price then you can get at the store. I have reordered this many times.
Great salt if it keeps your numbers where you want them.

I used this salt for about 6 months and I'm happy to say that it's a good salt. It mixes completely clean and fairly quickly. I just throw a powerhead in the bucket for a while and it gets the job done. I'm sad to say that I did switch salts recently because I just wasn't getting the numbers I need for my tank. I have a full mixed reef and couldn't get my magnesium over about 1215 and often it was even lower. (That's using 2 different salifert tests.)

I've switched to Fritz for now but I'm getting a lot of precipitation in my mixing can so I'm not sure what's going on there but it is definitely bringing my magnesium up.

Update 8/31/17
So after using a couple boxes of Fritz and ending up having to dose calc, Alk and mag anyway, I decided to try IORC again. I actually was able to buy a discounted box too! I cleaned my mixing bin with vinegar and rinsed well ... at first I didn't get too much precipitation with mixing but after usin 1 bag, I've got quite a bit on the can as well as the power head. I mix in my garage and the water temp often gets up around 85. I'm not sure if the temp has anything to do with it as I thought higher temp meant less precipitation, but it is happening somehow.

Since I'm switching back from Fritz I'll have to adjust my dosing I'm sure ... hopefully not too much!

Another update ... I just looked at the price of the 200 gallon box and it has doubled since buying a few weeks ago! If this trend continues I definitely won't be using IORC in the future!!! Not sure what's going on but all sellers have high pricing in the $80s and one even over $100! That's ridiculousness! Stars lowered unless price lowers back to normal!
