The Bach Instrument Polishing Gloves proved to make polishing of a complete silver service and candelabras very easy and very swift.
Great for cleaning my trumpet
ChristianMarch 28, 2012
I used these in band rehearsal, wearing them the whole time to avoid marking up my trumpet. They worked great for that, and will also remove fingerprints easily if you handled the trumpet. After a while they did get dirty and I washed them. I don't know if that removed the silver cleaning properties but they still work for removing smudges. Recommended!
You'll like these if you have large hands...

Bach Instrument Polishing Gloves, Silver

Using a polishing cloth to clean one of my silver plated trumpets required holding the horn with one hand, which left finger prints. With these gloves, you can handle or polish an instrument without actually touching it; hence, no smudges. The gloves can do the actual polishing, but they won't stay white for long doing that. My preference is to hold the instrument with a gloved hand and a polishing cloth in the other. These gloves are far superior to polishing mitts, since you can't get a secure grip on your horn using a mitt.

These are stretch gloves, with no size marked on them. They seem to be a mens size large, although my XXL (size 12) hands stretch the gloves to a perfect fit, including the fingers. My wife's hands are average sized for a women and these gloves are way too big for her.

There is no left or right glove; each can be used for either hand.

If you have a silver plated instrument and your hand size is large or greater, your should be happy with this product. Quality is excellent.
