I bought the 6.5 W hoping that it would fit better but I could not feel a difference (width); tight on my toes.

The nurse mates I purchased don't seem to be the same as I wore a few years ago. The medium fits like a narrow, I wanted to return them but when I got around to it, it was too late. Also the tongue on the right shoes seems to be a little off center and so the inside to of my shoe rubs on the top of my foot. I'm sorry I didn't get to it sooner as I would liked to have seen if a wider shoe whould have resolved some of the problems. They still seem to be a well constructed shoe except for the tongue. I wonder if the older shoes I used to wear didn't have a arch support and this one has more padding and that would cause one to need to order a larger size. I still wish I could have tried on an 8 wide to see if that would have worked. I probably should have gone to a shoe store and tried them on...but I love my Amazon Prime so much and use it alot. Its so convenient and when you order things usually arrive in just a couple of days.

After reading reviews I bought a larger size in a wide but it was tight. For the amount I paid I wasn't impressed. In the process of returning. If you have small perfect feet, this is the shoe for you.

Returned them. Way too narrow and a bit short even tho my size. Seemed made well.

I have a very hard time finding shoes that are wide enough, that fit and are comfortable... Usually they take a long time to break in too. These shoes were actually quite amazing... I am very pleased...
