I was very pleased with this product. All the parts and pieces of this kit fit well together. I pulled bearings off of a starter/generator for a golf cart. This hardly strained the puller, but it did what I needed. If I was still employed in the HVAC service industry, I have no doubt this kit would have worked for any of the household and light industrial applications I would have come across, with no problem. This will certainly fail if it is over loaded. I'm glad I bought this as I was uncertain after reading some of the negative reviews. But I've always been one to take negative reviews with a grain of salt, and besides, Amazon has been great on the returns I've had!

The top bracket that holds the puller got completely twisted pulling off a gear and the nuts all stripped up. One of the pullers actually had part of the bolt break off along with the nut. Wonder if there is any warranty for this...

Looked great, felt like heavy construction, but, broke the first time I used it, and under a fairly light load, pulling a lawn mower bearing. Broke the steel at the threads on the pusher/puller arm. The forcing rod was under little torque, under 100lbs., with a 3/8" socket. Frustrating, worthless. The quality of the steel is a fatal product flaw, the set can not be used as intended.
