The fan is pretty but like other reviewers said, it does start to rattle. I need to go back and read those reviews to see what I need to tighten. It's worth noting that I was running this 24/7 for 4 months straight, so I'm not surprised that something shook loose.
Once I do figure out what to tighten, I'll be happy that I bought a fan that will last me for years--not cheap plastic.

I have the junior version, and it did such a great job, Inwanted to upgrade. This one definitely blows stronger, but with a LOT more noise. Just mild white noise would be fine; this is fairly loud. Keeps the temp steady in the room even with the very hot weather, and I can keep the thermostat a degree warmer with the same result.

It is a beautiful fan. And as other reviewers have pointed out the white color is more off-white than white which is perfect for what I was looking for. I can verify what others have said"¦ it does have a rattle on all speeds unless pointing up. The fan is beautiful but I cannot recommend it because the rattling is extremely irritating. It is basically now just a decoration because I cannot stand turning it on. I am so disappointed I missed the window to return this noise maker. I ended up ordering another model Vornado fan which I like much better, moves the air well, and does not rattle at all.

Heavy and gets dirty fast (or my room is just that dusty:) it gets loud but not so uncomfortable you can't hear anything else. Keeps me cool but not if it gets too hot out (90degress it becomes useless)
