This sub is better than what the review stated. I love the Binding post connection and the fact that it has a great build quality. The frequency response is actually better in my vehicle then what I had anticipated. It brings a great low end quality to the music I play. I thought this was going to be an El Cheapo sub but it is not, the magnet is quite substantial for an 8incher and the surround of the speaker alludes to its Excursion capability. I've only tested it for about 40 minutes so far and I am extremely happy with it.

Just installed in my home audio (Replaced two 16$ Pyle Power 8" subs.) So far they are outperforming the Pyles and i don't notice and smell like the cheap speakers did. Only thing that was bad is that they didn't fit in the enclosure all the way (kinda bezeled under the screw mounting holes) after a quick shave to my box they sat in perfect! I also used caulking to seal the outer rim just in case. Let's see how long they last!
