Great jack, the handle retainer is almost useless

Bought this to jerk a few posts that were pushed over or broken in a recent wind storm. Worked just fine; probably overboard, but on the other hand I doubt I'll ever need to replace it.
The little spring clip to hold the handle against the shaft is pretty worthless, though. Hi-lift should either use a heavier spring material, or maybe have something like a spring-hook that goes around the shaft.

I actually returned this as I was disappointed. It is well made, but the Steel/Cast combo is only good enough to mount on your jeep and look pretty. There is too much space between the sides on the shear bolt that give it room to bend under heavy load and then it will not pick up a heavy load. Go for the all cast model or go to Harbor Freight and get their one.
