Works great! My watch is now running normally and staying charged. The old battery/capacitor was completely useless. Before, even 500 swings wouldn't give it more than a few minutes extra juice before it was back to extreme low power double ticks and pauses. Took me maybe 20 minutes start to finish while watching a tutorial on youtube so I knew any gotchas before starting.
One thing that wasn't mentioned when putting the case back on, tighten slowly and part way. Use a tool or your fingernail to make sure the O-ring remains tucked inside. Mine wanted to slip out if I wasn't careful. A couple rounds of maybe 1/6th turns and poking and it went down with the seal seated properly.

New Life for a Vintage Watch

This new battery gave new life to my 20 year old Seiko Kinetic. The original capacitor gave out after 4 or 5 years, but with the installation of this new battery, my kinetic charges again and indicates more than 2 weeks of charge after just one day wearing. This is great!

Purchased three of these capacitors; one was bad in that it was not fully charged upon instillation and would not hold a charge afterwards.
5m62 works!

Works well for 5m62 capacitor replacement. Don't use the extra bracket provided (reuse existing). Very "sharp" precision screwdrivers are required for replacement. My kinetic now shows full charge, and that hasn't been the case for 5 years.
