Basically just paint It and put It on a pole. Comes with a plastic pole adapter bracket that I chose to replace with a heavy duty metal bracket Instead that I had built. Birdhouse actually looks good. Has a solid feel. It Is lite but not flimsy. Cheaper If you just build your own, but very convenient just to buy this already built one.

Our metal PM house died after 25 years and everything I looked at to replace it came in a million parts that needed assembly. This birdhouse was the exception and arrived all set to use. I did spray it with polypropylene to extend its life and it looks great. I actually prefer the natural look to the white metal. I highly recommend.
