A straight straight edge

what more can i say other than it is a straight edge just as described. .a very heavy straight edge at that, packaging was minimal and a disappointment as this is a precision instrument.
I expected it to be a nice smooth finish

The finish on this is heinous. I expected it to be a nice smooth finish, but the whole thing has deep grooves from the cutting head. The edges are slightly burred, and one corner is dinged and pushed up.
Nice but I wish it came with a case.
