Awesome deflector

Works great for small spaces
Not worth the hassle for the price savings over spin streams.

Lasted me about 2 months compared to a year with the spin streams. Even with all of the fittings I could never get a tight fit on my nozzles. They would pop off from time to time age get sand in them when they fell to the bottom. I tried all the fittings to try to get a better fit. I have them on my JBJ RL-45 with standard ports. In my opinion you are better off spending the extra $10 and getting the spin steam nozzles. At least you wont have the extra maintenance of having to fix/clean your nozzles every few days.

This attachment works so well I ordered another for my 20g reef/mix. I have it plumed into my return from my sump. I used 1/2' PVC and one of the adapter fittings slipped right into the PVC perfectly. I have had it working for over 45days, does not make a noise while it rotates and diverts the water over my softies (green star polps, hammer coral, mix colors of zoantids, leathers and frogspawn corals). I ordered another to get even more 'wave' action! 6 STARS!!!

this little gadget sure does help to move the water around more than just one direction. Only drawback it's so fragile feeling when I clean it but it's held up pretty well!!
