Product leaks at the seam! Buyer Beware!!
J. Carter•November 30, 2017
Buyer beware! This is the perfect urinal for someone who has overnight mobility issues. But they leak at the bottom seam that is below that red cap on the back. This is the 3rd one I have purchased that has arrived with a leak. We have bought 5 of these over time, but 3 of the 5 have leaked upon the first use. At least this time, I tested it with water before I left it in the room for my disabled family member to use. The leak is significant too. I don't know if you can tell from this picture, but if you lay it flat and look at it from the back, it is right along the seam at the edge of the bottle
Life changing purchase- recommended

Last year my husband was near death with CHF. This item became an intricate part of his life since last March. He had a 56 day hospital stay, then weeks in rehab after an LVAD (pump). Since he is plugged into an outlet at night, he uses this every night. It may have been the best purchase I made in 2016.
Night and day improvement for his state of mind. As sick as he was, he was nervous about spilling or not being able to handle the standard urinal in the hospital. Other urinals spill, had caps he could not remove, nurses hung them on his bed but he did not have the strength to remove from the rail to use. I brought this to the hospital the day after his foley bag was removed. Every nurse was impressed.
This is stable, doesn't fall over while in the bed since base is wider than top. Fits comfortably between his legs. When very sick, he'd fall asleep with it between his legs.
Now he uses it nightly and brings it on all car trips, even just around town. With Lasix travel can be difficult. He has a string backpack and never leaves home without this urinal. It's part of our life. Never spills and easy to clean.
Handle is glow in the dark and snaps onto the urinal. We did have a mishap with it coming off unintentionally. That happened once then we readjusted how we handle the product and it never happened again.
I wish we purchased this sooner. Now it is a necessity but I would have slept better had he not been stumbling around the house, multiple times per night heading to the bathroom while I slept.

Bullwinkle
Ted B•August 13, 2016
I named it Bullwinkle because this thing is a MOOSE compared to regular urinals. And what a FINE moose it is!!! It performs in every way it is described and is extremely well made and very sturdy. I LOVE IT!!! Use it for a day and you will never go back to anything less. As others have said , it is a bit pricey but after using it the sticker shock will slowly vanish and you will appreciate the quality and craftsmanship that went into its creation. Just remember it's not a little roadster but rather a full size SUV with all its comforts and conveniences. Enjoy the ride. You will love it!!
A life saver for care-givers who would like to get some sleep!

I have tried everything to make it so my dad doesn't have to wake me up 5 times a night. Every bladder and sleep medication out there. His problem is that when he lays down, because of his congestive heart failure, the swelling in his legs works it's way out to his bladder all night long. He can't help it and it has nothing to do with prostate or anything. He legitimately has to empty his bladder. This is the one product that has enabled me to continue sleeping while he independently takes care of business. I lay him down at night with his adult diaper. I slide the leg opening to the side and put this on him. I tuck it up on him snug and then I wrap a small quilted pad on top of it under the handle and slide the ends of the pad under his legs so it stays in place. (Of course, he also sleeps on top of a larger quilted bed pad - just in case) We have had a couple of mishaps, like he has gotten wiggly because of an itchy back and his "pee-pee" slipped out and his testicle went in, and he wet the bed. But like I said he sleeps on a large pad, so no big deal and for the most part it works well.
My suggestion for the manufacturer to improve this product (and I would buy another immediately if you make this change), make the neck longer and slightly flexible or maybe somehow adjustable length. My dad is not exceptionally well-hung, maybe he never was, maybe it's something to do with his age, but he could easily slip out of it because when it sits between his legs, it JUST reaches the right part. He doesn't get way down in it. It would be better for him, if it came up a little higher and he could really get seated in it well. Thank you!
