Bottle tampered with; almost caused emergency vet visit.
Pam•December 21, 2017
This is a good product when I get it from my vet. I thought I could save some money by buying it here, but when I got the bottle it didn't have the plastic covering over the mouth (the one that makes the opening smaller) that the bottle I got from the vet had, and the bottle didn't look totally full. I thought it was strange but maybe just a different bottle type. However, we gave it to our cat and he started retching and foaming at the mouth within minutes of ingesting it. Poor thing kept heaving and foaming at the mouth heavily for 20-30 minutes until he threw up everything in his stomach. He had not ingested anything else that could have caused that reaction besides this medicine.
This product seems to help my cat, but beware of buying it here.

This worked well for a cat of mine that had anemia due to flea bites and dermatitis. Pepped him up within a few days. I also used this when another cat of mine had to go on a special diet of chicken, rice, and pumpkin due to colitis. I mixed a small amount in his batch of food to make sure he was getting all his vitamins. I never had an issue giving this as long as it was mixed in with some food.
She recommended Pet Tinic

Having a furbaby with IMHA, I asked his vet if there were vitamins he could take. She recommended Pet Tinic, said it was the best. His PCV numbers came up from a 13 (including blood transfusion) and prednisone. He held steady in the 40's for several months (I stopped the Pet Tinic) and prednisone...needless to say his numbers dropped in one week to 24...He is back on Pet Tinic, Prednisone and his numbers are climbing upward. He will never go off this product again...plus the other furbaby likes it too, can't hurt.
Kept my 19-year-old cat going through anemia, and he loved the taste.

I got my first bottle of this from the vet for my anemic elderly cat. Zyd was on several pills and needed Miralax to "keep things moving" after he turned 19, like my other two 20 year old cats (same as humans). Usually I dissolved the Miralax in a tiny amount of water, added some Jackson Galaxy Spirit Essences for arthritis and attitude and used a syringe to get it into the cat's mouth. Once the vet prescribed this tonic to help build red blood cells, giving the drops and Miralax was a breeze. Zyd would drink this straight from the bottle if I let him. I fixed the Miralax the same way in a tiny ceramic dish, added 1 cc of this tonic and popped it in the microwave for 5 seconds to dissolve the Miralax and warm it. Stir it up and he would drink it. Zyd so looked forward to it twice a day that when the first bottle was gone I asked the vet if the cat could continue to take the tonic. It was about $5 cheaper on Amazon. I just barely opened this last bottle and the cancer caught up to Zyd. But I think it really helped his last year.
Helped to defeat a sever anemia condition!
Natalia•May 18, 2017
My cat had a severe anemia in May 2016. For one week he went from an absolutely happy and active cat to a state where he was not able to move: his red blood cells count fell down to 11%. The reason of this anemia was not detected by the veterinarian, but we did everything to safe his life. He had a blood transfusion and was put on steroids. After that his red blood cell count augmented up to 14% and in one month it was about 23%.
Unfortunately 23% was the maximum he was able to reach, he was still very pale and weak, had strange desire to leak concrete walls or eat ground (a typical sign of anemia).
So I found this product and decided to try it out based on the reviews. In 6 months of regular usage we managed to defeat his anemia! Now he is back to his normal and active life, has pink nose and gums and his red blood cells are up to normal 29%!!
