Great Stand Extender

Like the music stand extender exceed my expectations

I originally made the mistake of buying only one, thinking that would be sufficient. But I quickly started pushing the extender farther and farther out to give me even more room, until there was only about a half-inch overlap between the extender and the music stand. To keep the extender from falling off, I experimented with various wood clamps and binder clips I had around the house, which looked pretty ugly. I ended up buying a one-inch "C" clamp at the hardware store that I clamp down on the extender to keep it tight on the music stand. The clamp is black and barely noticeable from the front (more obvious from the back). I just ordered a second extender.

This is a great product. It's important to know that these are sold individually--not in pairs. So if you want an extender on each side of your stand you need to buy two. This makes it a bit pricey if you need to outfit several stands.
Works great on flat (not rolled) music stand ledges.

Works well on most stands, but not on stands with rolled edges. The bottom tray of your stand has to be flat.
