Just what I Needed
dragondncr•December 4, 2016
For the price it is a great machine so far. Packaging was terrible. It was enclosed in Styrofoam, but it was very thin. A good part of it was in little pieces. The disc guard was bent up and I had to try and bend it back into shape. The only part, I didn't like, is how the disc guard door is locked in place by a threaded knob through the sheet metal. So, already it can't be tightened and vibrates loose. Other than that, I think it will be a great machine for my shop.
Happy with the machine.

Reworked it to a 220 outlet. Very pleased with the outcome.

It's sands just fine. I bought it thinking it would be a nice sander I guess 500 dollars doesn't buy much this days so I sold it as soon as I found an old American one on craigslist.
Pro
*does the job it was intended for
*actually collects a good portion of the dust
Cons
*only the disc sander has the nice cast iron table top.
*the cast iron top flexes no mater how tight u get it.
*the guard was slightly warping close to the sanding disc.
*high starting spike can occasionally trip a 20 amp circuit
