Adjustable weights make it a good long term invenstment
Dorothy YangJanuary 29, 2018
It works great for the reason I bought it: adjustable weights. The reason it is not 5 star is because:

1. The weights are like sand in plastic bags, so I'm nervous that they could puncture.
2. If you don't use all of the weights the fit can be weird as it leave a lot of material to wrap around your leg. I assume that once I use more weight the fit will be better, but right now it's loose.
Durable, Functional, Long-lasting Weight Set

Great weights. Well made. I have had them for a year and they are in great shape. I can easily take weights in and out of them, and unlike some weight variable ankle weights, the weights stay in their pockets when I am working out.

These are awkward and clumbsy, make sure to measure where the straps will go on your legs these didn't fully secure for me and slip and side around constantly while using. They also don't have a return policy so buyer beware
Good, durable weights
JacobOctober 25, 2017
I like those good, durable weights. The fabric containing small sand bags is very strong. However, I have to replace my previous weight in less than 6 months due to strips destruction and separation of Velcro fabric from strip fabric.
Also, the picture on the main page is wrong - the weights have two belts, not one and buckles are D-rings, not the rectangular rings.
The semi-circular D-rings don't work well. They crumple the weight's strips when you tighten them up. After few months they are completely destroyed - Velcro fabric gets separated from the strip and Velcro miniature hooks got broken and spilled around the weights.

This is the main drawback of the design - the rings should be rectangular, not D-rings (semicircular).
I replaced by myself the original D-rings with rectangular ones and it buckles started to work very well.
This is what I advise people to do.

Good thing is the the weight are not leaking the sand, because the sand stored in the sealed plastic bags.
they're inexpensive but uncomfortable

if you plan on using these to run in, i would look elsewhere. if you're like me and you just want some increased resistance for various exercises (core work, leg lifts, reverse hypers, stalder press prep work, blah blah), then they'll work just fine. the hard sandbags within just aren't padded enough from the ankle to keep from being painful after being worn for quite awhile. without running, wearing them for 45 to 60 minutes, they cause some noticeable discomfort. maybe i can take the bags out and "break them up" a bit to soften them, but they're vacuum sealed pretty tight.

great price, solid construction, mediocre design.
