Junk quality. Don’t buy!

This timer is not worth even $1. The magnet on the back is super weak and keeps falling off the fridge. The buttons on the timer don't work well. I press "Start" and it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. (I got it to time espresso shots, so every second matters.) This morning it fell off the fridge and the back hinge broke off. So it won't be going back on the fridge since it can't... into the garbage it goes!
Meh

Well, it is a timer, I'll give it that much. Fairly poorly constructed, with a very badly designed battery door. And, unfortunately, an even more poorly designed stand. With the stand open, the face of the timer is only a few degrees off vertical, making it impossible to read without picking it up. When your running around cooking up a storm, you don't have time to stop and pick up the damn timer. Not enough play in the hinge of the stand to make it worth modifying. Into the junk drawer it goes.
Poorly made in many regards, not better than a cellphone timer

This thing is fairly terrible. In an age where your phone replaces 90% of devices like this, you'd expect the company to put a little effort into making it worth wasting money on. But unfortunately, they did not. Almost immediately, the writing on the three buttons wiped away, so now it's a guessing game each time I take this out of the drawer. Also, the start/stop button has a hair trigger, so you try to press it and sometimes it gets triggered twice, so it immediately stops. So instead of focusing on whatever you're doing, in my case trying to time a pourover coffee, you have to fiddle with this thing.
so I would recommend this for something that's not going to be used ...

We are using this at a coffee shop to time our espresso shots. So it gets used A LOT. It worked really well at first, but its starting to get a little wonky. Sometimes, the start button wont work. Other times, when you push it to turn the timer off, it starts it all over again. Worked really well at first, so I would recommend this for something that's not going to be used over 100 times a day.
Handy little timers

I tend to buy multiples of things I like. I have three of these. They're useful and inexpensive. I keep one by my ovens, one over my stove hood vent, and one in my island drawer. Sometimes I clip one to my belt if I need to leave the kitchen while something is cooking. It beats having to listen for normal timers across the house. The only flaw I've found is that the magnet could be stronger. It doesn't take much to knock it loose.
