When I went to my doctor and told them that ...
Mario Calabrese•November 30, 2017
When I went to my doctor and told them that this device said my blood pressure was high, but was normal with their traditional devices, they laughed and called these wrist monitors unreliable. The freebie blood pressure machine at your pharmacy is more accurate. On the other hand if you have issues, it may be worth giving you a reading that may save your life!
So far, so good!

My husband has had several heart attacks, and its really important that we keep track of his BP. I read the reviews, and made my decision based on cost, and the proportion of good reviews, vs bad ones. We have had this for awhile now, over a month, and use it on a regular basis. I have had the opportunity to compare the readings we get with the MoF bp cuff, with our Dr. This seems to be pretty accurate. Accounting for being at the Dr anyway, its generally not a fun place to be.
I use this to keep track of my own bp. I like this bp cuff. I would buy it again.

Wonderful Product

I do physical exams for a living and I have owed 2 Mark of fittness wrist cuffs in the past. I purchased this one because of my past experience with Mark of fittness wrist cuffs. I can attest to the performance and quality of "Mark of Fittness" products. In the past 16 years this is the 3rd replacement. I feel that is an excellent track record. I would recommend this product to anyone who suffers from high blood pressure or just want to monitor their blood pressure. It has proven to be accurate and convient to use.
Works great, If I were me, I would buy it.

Bought this for me and the wife, as we are now past the 'mid thirties' and have to start caring about blood pressure, physicals, and other 'i'm not old but i'm not young' kinda things.
It's a great little device, and matches up pretty consistent with what i get at the doctors -- +- 5 hmg, which isn't all that different.
My only knock on it is the battery compartment isn't very sturdy - it barely stays in place if you don't touch it, and if you toss it to your wife when she says "My turn to check" it may send the batteries flying.
Other than that, a good buy - and for the price you can't beat it.

I LOVE this monitor...

I am on my second of these monitors and absolutely love it. It's easy to use and much more accurate for someone with a larger upper arm who has trouble getting accurate readings on traditional monitors. Tested against the monitor in my Cardiologist's office, this machine was most accurate with the arm extended straight out and not up by the heart as the instructions say. I literally wore the first one out after several years of use and purchased another last summer. It works just as well as the first.
For those who are getting readings that vary, if you sit and take your blood pressure several times in a row, you will get different readings as you sit and rest. After resting, my blood pressure will sometimes naturally fall 20 points or so. This is why the instructions ask you to sit and rest before taking your blood pressure.
I would have given this product 5 stars if I found it most accurate as the diagram in the instructions suggest. But knowing that this is most accurate with the arm extended, I take my pressure in that position and it is always accurate. LOVE this product.
I edited this to add, this monitor was again tested against a manual blood pressure cuff just this afternoon. The manual reading was off one point from the result with this monitor. Can't stress enough the importance of holding your arm in an L shape with your arm out in front rather than lifting your arm up next to you as the diagram suggests.
