In order to follow my Nutritionist advice, this tool it 's perfect, easy to handle and to send info. the only thing that will make it top notch will be a Bluetooth connection to monitor over my cell or computer, but anyway, Pura Vida!!

This product is great and it does what it should, in fact my rating was 5 starts but a couple years later it simple won't work anymore, changed batteries, left a couple days without batteries and it won't work or reset. Thing is: When you press the button to use it, it should get ready and give you a beep to let you know yo can step on it to get the numbers, this step is never happening and it gives an error message. i searched everywhere, manuals, internet, youtube, etc but no one seems to have a solution for this...so never going to buy TANITA again...

Best scale I have ever owned. I have been tracking (writing down & graphing in a LibreOffice spreadsheet) my results, and the amount of data this thing gives is amazing for the price! I mostly focus on weight, body fat and total body water % (TBW%), and it is nice that there are four presets for four different people (though my wife and I only use two).
Excellent value, solid construction. Very happy with this purchase... may not always like the results, but that ain't the scale's fault!

There is no way to reset the electronics if it develops an error. I've had it for a few years; used by one person only. It now displays "Error" when I turn it on. I called Tanita and they said there is no way to reset it -- has to be sent in to be fixed. It's out of warranty so I'm just going to buy a different scale (not a Tanita).

This scale is NOT accurate. When i first weighed in, I got dramatically different results than I do now, and now, its for the worse. The weight is correct because I have another scale and it's to the ounce. It's the rest of the information that's questionable. I have tried weighing at different times, I get totally different results. I am either a 5 or an 8 far as physique, and between a 17-20 metabolic age and I am 44. My muscle is in the 80's yet registers as "adequate" meaning I am 115 pounds which is actually heavy for me and supposedly 84 pounds is muscle. Would that not be more than adequate and certainly above standard meaning a "5" for physique? I was excited at first when I actually got better results, but I get a 5 and and 8 in the same day. So, I have no idea which is accurate.
