According to my Owner's Manual, I ordered and received the right part number. However, the mulch plug is no where near large enough for my mower.

My mower is a 42" 2011 model. The box does say it fits 42" 2009 and prior. But, it also says it is the OEM Part number that my owners manual calls for.

Doesn't fit. I got a useless part. Something is wrong somehere. Buyer beware!

With now mulching this made little difference.

Well packaged and good instructions. Everything fit well. I used it on a 38" deck and saw that all the parts for a 42" deck were there except the plug. I would have preferred to pay less for just the 38" parts and see the 42" parts packed and sold separately.

package was previously opened, however I decided to keep it as all items were present. The plug was designed to fit my troy-bilt bronco 2007/2008 mower with 42" deck, however it did not fit out of the box, and I had to carve away at the plastic edge of the mulch plug for it to fit. Once you're able to insert the plug it's a tight fit. it came with 2 sets of metal skirts, one for 38" and one for 42". My mower had the holes predrilled and installation went fine with a socket wrench, did not have to remove the deck to install the skirts. No problems with clearance as the screw heads do not seem to be touching the ground..besides you wouldn't be running the mower with the deck flat on the ground anyway.

I accepted the product but I don't like receiving (as new without any discount) stuff that had already been opened and obviously previously returned. I would be careful shopping from this vendor in future.
