It won't last two years.

This was the second faucett mount Pur filter that I bought. The light on the first one quit working right before the two-yr. limited warranty ended.
I called customer service and they explained that the filter was still working even though the light wasn't. They suggested that I just change the filter every two months and ignore the light. I ordered a replacement in November 2015. After about a year the chrome started peeling off and the unit looked terrible, but it still worked. A few months before the two-yr. warranty ended, the light stopped working. I ignored the light and was tracking the months. Right before the two-yr. warranty ended, the water flow was very fast and I had my doubts that it was filtering the water. I had just changed the filter 2 weeks ago. I called customer service and complained about the light, the chrome peeling and the questionable filtering. They offered to send me a new one if I returned the old one to them. My biggest complaint is the reliability of the light and their response. Why does Pur put the light on the uniit, if they know it is going to fail? Why do they provide a limited warranty on a product and then tell the customer to ignore the problem? Something so simply made should at least last until the limited warranty is over.
Fills Very Slowly, Not Good for More Than One Person/Families

I've used primarily the water filter pitchers before, and I will probably continue to use those. This filters water very slowly, It's very impractical in terms of filling glasses of water for multiple people, or even a large water bottle. I've gotten around this by having a sealed, recycled, glass bottle that was previously filled with cider, filled with water and ready to go in the fridge for when we have guests over. So, a pretty "meh" product.
... water filtration systems for years and they have worked great in the past

I've been using Pur faucet mounted water filtration systems for years and they have worked great in the past. In December of 2015, my old filter that I had for seven years stopped working. I purchased a new one here on Amazon which lasted 10 months before it started malfunctioning. There is a switch to turn the filter on. When the filter isn't on, water is supposed to flow out of the fixture unfiltered. The switch on the filter started malfunctioning so that water would not flow out of the faucet when the filter was turned off. I contacted Pur and they sent a replacement in October 2016. It is now July 2017 and the replacement filter is having the same issues. Apparently Pur no longer makes a quality product. It's too bad, because I really liked their filters and the old ones lasted a long time. I will be shopping for a replacement made by a different company.
Glad I bought this

I'm no handyman but this was easy for even me to install. I like that it is easy to flip between the regular unfiltered flow and the filtered flow and that the whole thing rotates. The only thing I could wish for to make it better would be to have the filtered water stream as heavy as the unfiltered. It does a good job of removing the white particulates from the water coming out of the faucet.
Filtered water output is very slow.

I wanted a filter instead of buying bottled water or using a filter pitcher. This arrived as promised and was easily mounted on the faucet. The problem is the slow flow through the filter. It takes 7 seconds to fill the bottle with unfiltered water and 30 seconds with filtered water at 40 psi water pressure. It is a plastic housing so I don't know if it would survive more pressure.

The pitchers are slow but they're gravity fed. I bought this because I thought the pressurized filter would be faster.

Another problem likely caused by the low flow is some of the filtered water will run over the filter body. I inserted a section of a soda straw in the rectangular filter output to cure that problem but it shouldn't have been necessary. I'll likely get some type of under sink unit.
