Best footware!

These are SUPER comfortable! They look sharp and feel like you're wearing almost nothing. Only complaint I have is the leather laces dont hold up at ALL, but parachute cord works really well and makes it a LOT easier to get them nice and snug.
Best boots out there for what they are.

It's so hard to find a good set of well-made, tall boots like this. Most are made for women, are too small, or you just don't find anything at all. The boots, due in part to design, can fulfill multiple purposes. They can work as cosplay, hunting, and casual, just to name a few. However, if one is going to go hunting or lives in particularly wet areas, grab some leather sealant. I love my pair of these boots, and get compliments.
For cons, the laces have a tendency to break if not handled delicately. I followed others' advice and picked up an extra set of more durable laces. Sure enough, soon after the laces went bust, and I promptly fitted them out with the new ones. The boots also are a bit rough on the feet due to the sole, so sole inserts are advised. This however depends on the surface you walk on. Walk on something soft, such as grass, leaves, or carpet, then you will have the most comfortable experience with any piece of footwear on your lifetime. Walk on something rougher such as concrete for extended periods of time, and it'll start to get uncomfortable.
For those with wider feet, a slight extra tug and loosening around the ankle area will be needed. I'm a 13-Wide size and it can take some time to get out. Other than that, these boots are worth every dollar. I'm considering picking up the grey variant, too.

Works great for LARP

I bought these for use at a LARP (or several), and boy were they tested immediately.
First off I recommend getting Sno-Seal beeswax and applying a healthy coat. It will make the suede slightly darker, but it will completely water-proof them.
Second these have little to no insulation so if you go out in the cold, wear thick socks.
Third I would go only 1 size above normal. I wear a size 11 and got these in 13. I have fairly large calfs from playing football, but the 13 is slightly loose in the foot area.
That being said, these worked out great. I spent an entire rainy weekend in these slopping around and didn't feel a thing. The soles are surprisingly well padded and the boots themselves are very light. Do note not to stick your feet into / near a fire and then walk around in them because I messed up the rubber bottoms pretty bad (because I am an idiot). Overall I am happy with these boots. Works great for LARP.

Boots Good - What's Hot Not.

This is not the first pair of these I have owned and now my third over the past 12+ years or so. Yes, I like the boot as it does protect me feet and keep my calves warm. I wear them around the house to avoid my heals getting dry and severely rough. Yesterday, after 5 months, the lace on the right boot broke so I contacted the seller, What's Hot about a replacement lace and informed they are just the re-seller and no warranty but perhaps the manufacturer would. Okay, don't support the products you sell which tells me I will never purchase from that company. Moreover, one week after my initial purchase I found out I could have saved $15 by purchasing first time from the manufacturer's website. Let those who purchase in the future be aware.
Great quality but run small we had to go up 2 sizes to wear as designed

My husband wears a 10 1/2 to 11 normally so we ordered an 11 when they came they we to small to wear even socks with and could not tuck pants into them because they r thin all the way up the legs but quality was very good so we ordered them in a 13 so that he could wear them with socks and over pants and that was a much better fit ! Color and quality were great other than the punch out to lace being a little off at the top so had to negotiate the lacing up very carefully I wish they would put rivets around the holes for the laces but that would be only negative I sent the 1st pair back and am happy with the 13 and would def order these again ! Also very good about shipping these on time they came in like 4/5 days
