Poor Construction quality

These are cheaply made. Mine did not make it through 1 hiking trip. I had it tied to my pack by the handle and through normal hiking the handle gave way and the lantern fell to the ground destroying the mantles and breaking the glass. It was not a good situation to be in in a wilderness area. Honestly with LED flashlights these things are becoming obsolete. They are much more rugged. I was disappointed that this product cannot handle basic camping and hiking.
Coleman lanterns don’t dissapoint.

The best light at the camp! Someone had one of these last summer, so I knew that I wanted one of my own. Puts off very bright light and we were able to stay outside to play cards and games well into the night with this being our main source of light.

We used it last weekend for our camping trip and it worked great! It gives out great light and the adjustable knob was perfect for adjusting for the evening light into the night. Great!
