Made the mistake of waiting u til it cooled down to install. Had an issue with the product and attempted to return. Because I was outside the 30 policy the seller refused to work with me. Will never use them again.

This shutter works much better than the original fan shutter. It not as noisy as the original shutter, but it is not as quiet as the shutter I had in a previous home 30 years ago. It would be much quieter if they would use heavier gauge metal and apply sound proofing material to the shutter blades. I would give it 3.5 stars... it replaced a 1.5 stars shutter.

Better than the original (that broke). Not too hard to install with 2 people (one to hold in place while other drills in screws.)

Its not 30" by 30" but I made hole bigger to fit. Also the louvers are heavy/needs a lot of power to open them up. Fan on low speed will not open louvers
