Perfect replacement Lens for Nutone bathroom Fan/light
David_Jr✓ Verified Purchase•October 4, 2023
My 20 year old bathroom fan got really yellowed and awful looking. I looked at new fans but didn't want to spend the money. I thought it would be worth taking a look to see if I could just replace the yellowed lens. I did a search and Amazon had it and the price was right. Received it and it is a perfect match for the original except not yellowed. Seems just as sturdy as the original. Hope it lasts another 20 years! Money well spent.
Easy to install

I have finally ordered all the pieces to gut the fan and replace them. It wasn't until I took the old cover and lens off till I saw I should have replaced it a long time ago; was yellowed and the lens was cracked from the heat of the light bulb. I have replaced all the pieces to the fan; includes the motor assembly, reflector, cover, and lens plus a new led bulb. What a difference! Highly recommend.
Effective rejuvenation of bathroom exhaust fan
Nebti18✓ Verified Purchase•September 17, 2023
This is a great cheap way to rejuvenate your Nutone bathroom exhaust fan/light fixture. We have three such fixtures in a house we're renovating, and one had lost its grille/lens. I could not find a model number on the fixture, but there was a part number on its electric motor. After looking through the Nutone database of electric motor part numbers I was able to narrow the fixtures containing my motor to four, and from there it was easy to determine which one matched the grill/lens I was missing. These same parts are available on Ebay for less, but with shipping the cost is more than with Amazon Prime. You will need to unplug the light to insert the lens. Fortunately, both light and fan use conventional plugs that plug into receptacles inside the fan housing.
Exactly the Same as the 14-Year Old Cover I Replaced

I was surprised that not only does Amazon sell just the covers for these exahaust fans, but they sell the same exact brand and model for what I am replacing (that is 14 yers old). In my project to replace dingy old light fixtures, A/C vents, etc, this was one of the last things I'd not "refreshed." On a whim, I went to Amazon and found the exact thing. Nice and white/bright again! Although in a pinch, no reason why I couldn't/wouldn't remove the existing one and spray paint it. But, this is a good price and simple to install.
Not an exact replacement

I bought this as a replacement for the old grille/lens assembly. I found it was not an exact replacement and that I had to trim the edges of the light assembly so that it would fit in the opening of the grille. Essentially the grille goes on first then the light assembly and the grill is held in place by the nut that holds the light assembly to the fan. I had to make some "wings" on the light assembly to hold the grill in place. A little bit of trial and error. I got it all to fit and stay in place, but it took a while to make it all work.
