I bought this to replace another steel snow shovel that just plain wore out from all the snow this year. The build and quality are very good, but I was surprised how heavy this shovel is. Thick steel should wear very long, but is a bit heavy for "shoveling", but should be O.K. as a snow "pusher".

It does a good job. We have searched our area for a couple of years and glad to find it. However I hope I don't need it anymore this year.

This is a very well-built shovel, one that I am sure will give many years of excellent service. We had several heavy snowfalls after I received this item and I have no complaints about its sturdiness and ability to push large amounts of snow. The heavy steel blade easily clears snow down to the asphalt or concrete and can scrape ice better than any shovel I've ever owned. There is absolutely no comparison between this shovel and those puny, poly-bladed ones with a thin strip of metal at the edge of the blade. If there is anything negative to say about it, it would have to be about the weight, but it weighs so much because of how well it is built. I couldn't be happier with it.

Great shovel, a little on the heavy side but it is steel after all. I installed a handle (clamp) in the middle to help with the weight, extremely happy.

it is a pusher, like a plow, when lifting with snow, the snow slides off the sides if you tilt.
