Too complicated to use, takes too much time to put the the aid in and out the device.

I had one of these several years ago that I liked, but it eventually split down the side and couldn't be closed any more. I bought to use for traveling, since it is so small and packable. I recently used it for a moist Scotland land and sea vacation, and it worked very well. One star off because the snap seems misplaced, or maybe the snap "flap thing" isn't long enough. It is a little difficult to snap. There is just a bit too much bulk when you roll down the bag then try to make the two snap parts meet. My older bag did not have this problem. My newer bag DOES SNAP, it's just a little more challenging to do.

On the other hand, I took my older bag on a canoe trip a few years ago. I ended up capsizing, and got my head dunked. Both of my hearing aids immediately went dead. I quickly removed the batteries, dried off the aids, left the battery doors open and packed my aids into the Dri-Aid kit. I went to bed feeling sorrowful, with the Kit inside my sleeping bag because it was well below freezing each night. I thought I would be in bad shape without being able to hear for the rest of the trip. I was surprised and delighted to find that in the morning, both of my hearing aids were fully functional after I put in new batteries. Wow! My aids worked perfectly for the remainder of the trip. Remembering that occasion added that lost point back in!

Nice portable dehydrator. The strap for closing on this unit is a little bit short so it is a struggle to snap it close. I really like the idea of no electricity needed, and re-usable silica gel.

I like this dry aid. Our last one lasted 7 yrs, and was lost at camp. I don't use the bag though. I put the disk and hearing aids in a good sealing plastic container.
