It’s easy to install

A decent medium duty fence at a reasonable price that we've used several times on wood, metal and recently a masonry fence. It's easy to install, great for dealing with odd sized openings and even handling some out of plumb walls. The latch mechanism isn't fantastic but it's usable "“ I've replaced it with upgraded latches on a couple projects. I've included pictures of the masonry and metal installs since I've seen questions about if that can be done "“ yes, it can. You'll want to use wall plate hinge (pegs) for the masonry install (I used these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004EKNTEG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I used my own heavier duty self tapping screws for the metal gate install, the ones they ship are a bit light duty. Overall, good design that's easy to customize, no issues thus far with anything failing on me. Upgrade latch and attachment hardware as needed.
Excellent kit

I use two of these to make a 13 foot gate. I replace the cable with a chain and larger turnbuckle due to the weight of the wood. The cable probably would have been fine but would also probably have needed to be tightened overtime due to the stretching the chain has no stretch. The metal frame and hinge made the gate strong and sturdy. I have started eyeballing all of my other four foot Gates around my property and I'm debating on swapping them out for this system. You could probably hit my gate with a truck and not go through it at this point. I use 6 by 6 Post in the corners Planet 3 ft deep and metal tubes in the middle with their drop down pins for securing in the middle. The picture was when the middle pin pipes were hardeninb in concrete and no the dog is not taking a poo.
Perfect for my needs

This worked out perfect for my situation. I was needing to block an area behind my shed, but still wanted access, so it was not a standard size. I found everything in the kit was good quality (the up to 90" gate width). I am fairly handy an took about twice as long putting it together than most.
Needs some customization

Installed two of this as a dual gate on my 11ft wide drive way. Ran into couple problems and had to change some measurements and parts to make it fit.

- Twisted post: my wooden posts have been there for 12yrs, and one of them is a bit twisted, I don't want to replace the posts as they are nicely fit into the concrete drive way, digging it out would make a mess. The post side hinge I got with this gate is the corner plate with a hook on it, if I directly fit the corner plate on the twisted post it then my gate would not be true, and turning one side would lean downward, and turning another side would lean upward. So I had to go to Lowe's and buy me a 5/8" j-lag screw hinge. Measure a true straight line on the post using a line and tie it to something heavy. Pre-drill a 1/2" hole and drill in as straight as possible disregard the twisted plane of the post, and installing the j-lag screw hinge, I was able to get a pretty straight position. The 5/8" j-lag screw hinge fits perfectly with the provided eye hinge from the gate.
- Floor not level: My concrete drive way is graded away from the fundation, so if I measure the middle from both of the posts it would ends up not level, and I would eventually have an un-even gap from floor to my fence board later, also if I open the gate wide, it may hit the floor at one point. I had to use a line and a line level to find the true matching points between the two posts, and find the most compatible points of the two, then everything would line up nicely and the two gate frames would meet at the same point and nothing will hit the floor or look too high/low.

Other the the above complications, the frame itself is nice, the hardwares are decent to me, I added a thimble and extra cable clamp on each side. Both the gate frames aligns nicely when I was done installing the 2x4s, but after I screw on the boards, one side did drop about 1/8", and would not adjust back no matter how I adjust the turnbuckle. My advise is not to install the latch or the drop down rod until you have finished install the boards.
Great product - Use steel posts

After rebuilding my gates - I will never EVER build a gate without a product like this. It will takes 2 people as the instructions state, and it took about 2 hours to build out the framework for a 6' gate. I bought two of these gates kits. I made my 1st gate 6', and the other 5' so I could drive my truck/trailer into the backyard. You want to use steel posts. A 4x4 tubing at you local metal supply house is about 30$ for a 9' stick. The hinges are 8$ each at your local farm/coop store. For the rest of the fence that hold up the 2x4s - you can use the metal chain link posts from Home Depot/Lowes. They sell the adapters to hold your wood up. You will have to drill out the posts for your bolts. I had a 300+ lb man hanging at the end of my gate. It opened and closed just like normal. The latch hardware is cheap, but that can be upgraded. I just used the old hardware. I am 99% complete, 100% happy with the product. The only thing I have left to do is fill in the posts with quickcrete to make them completely solid.
