Fun to have
A Good Buy/Replica!

For the cost you pay, THIS is an axe! In many ways, it is a finer than fine product piece that really makes you feel awesome holding it in your hands. Seriously, I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this but... I am MORE than satisfied with how everything turned out! Just be responsible with it is the "theme".
There are several things you should know about this particular item. For one, as it is an axe, it has no sheath or wrapping for the blade. And the BLADE in question is super SHARP! Seriously, I mean, wow, it really was way sharper than I thought was needed to be a costume prop as well as a wall decor! It's too sharp on both sides; blade and spike. So, be VERY careful about this bad boy. Especially plan ahead if guests are coming over, be they best friends or little kids and so on. (Seriously, you might be better off locking this up so no one "plays" around with it. It's way too dangerous in the wrong - even if unintentional - hands. If you know metal works or such, blunting/grinding it is a good idea on both sides.)
Apart for that warning, this item is great! It's well worth the price. I am super happy with it! Especially the studded bits as they haven't fallen out or anything. The handle is sturdy material too. I don't know why idiots get these things to hit things with but this isn't meant for that. No online ordered weapon is. It's a replica which belongs in a costume atmosphere or mounted on your wall as bad ass decoration in your gaming room! :D

Mine is fine!

Ok, I was iffy about buying this with all of the bad reviews I read but figured I can always send it back, so I got one.
I don't know why everyone seems to get bad ones, mine turned out to be quite nice no rust, mold, critters or anything else wrong with it. All the studs in the handle were shiny and tacked in a proper pattern like the photo, the axe head seems to be on strait (not sure how well secured yet) but I always re-inforce mine so as long as it is not a balsa wood handle it should be fine, I'm not planning to cut lumber with it once the blade is sharpened anyway. Oh yes the blade.. you will need to sharpen it yourself. That is the only small drawback with this item I can mention. Never a problem for me as I always upgrade many of my weapons to make them way better than they were when I got them. Badassified by re-design Igor style.
Like I said If I am really disappointed I can always send it back...So can you.
So roll those bones, ya might just get lucky!

just love this, looks real, nice and heavy, it could do some damage, but it's hanging on my wall
Good for the price

I was not expecting much when I paid less than $40 for a battle axe. Though, I wasn't disappointed. Upon close inspection, you can see how quickly they slap these things together. However, for an occasional costume piece, it's perfect.
The broken and misshapen rivets in the handle (yes, there are a few) add character and make it seem a bit more authentic, but the visible glue on top is a bit irritating.
Overall, I'm happy with it. You get what you pay for, but this really isn't a bad deal.
