Bought this for backyard axe throwing. That type of use is very hard on hatchets and this has taken a beating. Shows zero damage or signs of damage. Handle is sturdy and fixed very strong to the head. It was sharp and ready for use. I have used it to also split kindling and it was the perfect tool for the job. For the money this is a great product.

It comes a bit dull but 10 minutes with a metal file & just working approx 1/16" of the edge brought it up to paper-cutting sharp. Seems solid, strong, the weight is around the limit for a go-bag, but this hatchet feels like it will do the job and last a long while.

I've been using this little hatchet for over a year now and it performs well. It has survived the abuse I've put it through and fells medium branches and firewood with ease.
The only downside is that it arrived rather dull so be prepared to sharpen it before first use.
