Very Sturdy and very tight.

This is a sturdy pipe. I had to hammer it in, but it took the beating. It IS very durable. I think the users who complain it's not strong enough must be misusing it. Period -- no reason to explain further.
Because it fit so tight, I'd recommend a coating of oil on the pipe before you start banging it into place
Because of the length, I had to bury it half way into the tube. I'm over 6 feet and over 200# and the last thing I need is a flimsy seat. I would have to be over 7 feet to use the full length of this tube on a standard 26 inch tire bike.
My only reason for taking off one star is the fact that once it is seated in the tube, it will be very difficult to retrieve it.
I've all ready ordered another one for my other bike.
I would also think that if you are under 5 Ft 10 inches, this pipe isn't for you unless the bike you are fitting it to is a child's size.
