This watch arrived in a presentation box which was torn, and the watch does not work. The second hand would jump forward a second, then would hesitate and freeze for a second or two, then jump forward but not as far, then repeat this process, with no forward movement of the minute or hour hands. Perhaps the battery is dead, I don't know, but this is the firsts purchase I've made from Amazon that is totally unsatisfactory.

This is the model I buy over and over again. It truly takes a kicking and keeps on ticking. That is, Until you need a new battery and the jeweler can't get the back to reseat properly. I've found the night time illumination priceless during my late night ninja activities as I document my girlfriend cheating on me at all hours of the night while I sit in the dark outside her window watching......waiting. I've purchased less expensive watches, I've purchased much more expensive watches, and this by far is the best value for the money.

I'm not a fan of these kinds of watches but I have to get one for my career (CNA). I like it because of its crisp and clear readings as well as the date right in front. The next selling point was the extending wrist. Handwashing is something i'll be doing pretty much every 30 minutes now and I need to be able to wash my wrist. With the extendable band I can easily slide the watch up instead of unbuckling it.
