Good product. Included wrench is total garbage. Use to level up to 4-6 inches only.

This does a great job without a lot of effort. However if you have to level more than a little bit, you should find a different spot. It looks like you could raise it a lot, but it really doesn't.
The ratchet wrench this comes with is absolute garbage. After about 3 uses it's broken and slips. You really need a ratchet too, a regular wrench will take for ever. So I bought a good quality one and I'm fine.
It is rather large and heavy. You can't lay it flat without a little bit of work to unscrew the whole screw. Even with it's faults, it's a great device and time saver.

THIS LIGHT TRAILER TIRE LEVELER REALLY SIMPLIFIES LEVELING YOUR RIG!

This piece is working well, as advertised. It really is the best solution I have found to date for leveling my two-wheel, single axle camping trailer. As time goes by and I can evaluate the piece more thoroughly, perhaps I can boost the star rating to "five." I should mention that the first one of these I received from Amazon was missing the necessary screw part. Amazon took the piece back and, at my request, shipped me another. The design of the second one had been improved so that the screw was fixed in place. So now the device is all one piece. The ratchet wrench used to elevate the screw, incidentally, is not a very well-made piece. The fitting on the screw head, however, will accept a standard 3/4" socket, so I don't consider the wrench's low quality to be big problem.
Oh so easy to use.

Should have bought it three months ago when it was only $61. Oh well, it's worth it at the current $79 price.
Took it out to the trailer and leveled up in under three minutes.
Quite heavy - solidly built. I don't understand how anyone could wreck the threads on it. They are very large pitch and strong. Just keep it greased like any moving part.
Yes, it's heavier than a bunch of boards or those curved-wedge levelers. But, oh, so easy to use. Park the trailer where you want it, slide the leveler in place, crank it and the tongue jack until the trailer is level both ways and you're done. Time to drop your stabilizer jacks, if any. None of that jockeying back and forth, and "rats I need one more little board" - off and on again. I'm done with that.
I'm happily taking on the weight and space needs to have this thing with me. They even include a ratcheting end wrench with it. What more could you ask?
Get one. You won't be sorry.

The product itself is very solidly built and I'm not worried about stripping any of the threads like some have mentioned with my 1500lb dry popup

I normally use a Camco tri-leveler for my popup camper but I can never get it perfectly level unless I move my trailer back and forth 10 times. Of course, if you have a popup, you cannot adjust it after you are all set up and just have to deal with it. With the BAL 28050, I can adjust the leveling of my trailer at any time. The product itself is very solidly built and I'm not worried about stripping any of the threads like some have mentioned with my 1500lb dry popup. The only issue may be size. It's very large. I just have to find a creative way to secure it to the bottom of the trailer when it's not in use so I don't have to store it inside. Great product so far.

If you own a pop-up camper, you should definitely buy this device. The BAL leveler is light years beyond any other single-axle leveler. I will NEVER use leveling blocks ever again.
A note, the screw part should be lubricated with a heavy grease to prevent debris from damaging things. Using heavy grease is much less messy than using a conventional light lubricating oil. We use Lucas X-Tra heavy grease. Make sure to store the screw assembly in something to avoid getting the grease everywhere. We use 7/8" pipe insulator. One last thing, all of this fits VERY well inside a Winco 20x20 pizza bag. Get the bag. You'll thank me later!
