Great Bench
Happy Gamer✓ Verified Purchase•January 26, 2018
This is an overall excellent bench, for larger men it certainly can be somewhat tight in the front so keep this in mind (I'm 6ft) but it something you can easily get used to! For anyone trying to add more angles, I would suggest using a brick cut in half. Because of the tightness in the front, I can't suggest 5/5, but if Bowflex provided multiple sized cushions for the front bar piece it would be an easy 5/5 product.
Sturdy and well made

This bench does flat, incline, decline and 90 degrees. It's stable in any position for the dumbbell workouts I do. Not terribly difficult or frustrating to put together as things like these can sometimes be. It's a nice size for a taller person (like me). It's another great Bowflex product made better by getting it on sale.
Do you need 30 degrees and 60 degrees ???

This is a TERRIFIC BENCH, but it is missing two useful inclinations: 30 degrees and 60 degrees.
If you have a 1" x 4" piece of lumber, a couple of wood screws and some glue, you can fix that. See the photos.
I made mine about 6" long. The length you use will determine the angle of the inclination. I was too lazy to actually pull out the protractor, but I think it's pretty close.
It works for me; maybe it will work for you too "” very stable and sturdy!

Most function for the price

If I'm not mistaken this was one of the least expensive incline/decline benches I could find. I went with it for that and the brand, hoping it would hold up.
The decline, flat and first incline position are all very functional. The full incline not so much. The leg bar comes in handy for resting the top of your feet on while doing elevated pushups or single leg lunges. The padding is decent and stitching on the cover is good. The frame is solid. Moving from one position to the other couldn't be easier or quicker and the backrest stays in place.
I've had this for about six months and the cover has already started to wear where my shoulders rub against the back. Nothing significant but its noticeable, looks like just the dye on the material. I'm guessing at this rate I'll be replacing the cover in a few years, along with the padding. Not that big of a deal because everything else is solid.

Quality bench; adequate for basic workouts

Nice bench; quality of parts and material seems to be high. I am not very handy when it comes to assembling things but put this together with no trouble in 30-45 minutes.
The one area where I have found myself having some buyers remorse is that I sometimes miss having at least one more incline position for doing exercises such as an incline chest press. The one incline position on this bench keeps you pretty elevated and I sometimes like to have a steeper incline. Bowflex makes a model which does this, and I opted for this cheaper model thinking I wouldn't miss the extra position. Not so. My advice to would be buyers is to go with the slightly higher cost Bowflex SelectTech 4.1 Adjustable Bench so that you have the flexibility of the additional position of the bench. It's money well spent in my opinion.
