Nice tape for heat-resistant projects

I bought this tape to use on a homemade Reflectix insulation jacket for my homebrew equipment. I needed tape that was heat resistant. It is nice and wide and super sticky -- be careful about accidentally touching something by mistake, as it's impossible to take it off intact. It's easy to form around corners since, because once the backing is removed, it's just like a piece of aluminum foil. It's a bit tough to remove the backing, so have a sharp edge, like an X-Acto Knife, to help tease the backing off.
Holds it on ad won't mildew or mold.

I bought probably tennrolls if this to insulate a building. The biggest thing I see so far it it doesn't hold moisture at all which means no mold or mildew and at the end of the day it doesn't feel like you were attacked by mosquitoes in a rain forest. R value is lower than most but for outdoor projects or moisture control inside it can't be beat.

Tape is fine, but the seller is misleading with the image, which makes this product rather expensive. Shown are three rolls of this tape, I only received one small roll. There are other less expensive options that work just as well.
Worked For a While

I purchased this to hold insulation wrapped around the portable air conditioner hose. It worked well at first and I was quite happy with the purchase. But after a month of daily use in this hot weather it has all become unstuck so the insulation is off the hose. I have to tape the pieces back on again. I don't know if the hose got too hot causing it to become unglued. Or if the excessive humidity as of late is the cause. So next year I will try another brand.

I saw the tape and didn't think that this would work on an AC hose. It seemed far too flimsy or thin, but once you actually use it, you're surprised at how well it works. It's extremely thick and sticky. It was like using gaffer's tape, but well insulated. It is somewhat hard to figure out how to peel back the backing from the tape. It took me quite a while to get it going, but I recommend that once you get it going, that you fold back the edge right before you cut/tear the tape.
