I've had OTA antennas for 20+ years in this location. This unit has picked up 4 more stations than I'd obtain in the past. I've had large units before. Needs the extra support brace, but installs well.

We live about 30 miles South of Portland, Oregon. We have tried other antennas, but after the initial use, we started to lose stations. This antenna continues to work great. We pull in about 40 stations. We haven't been through a winter yet to see how it will work with cloudy skies and how that will affect our reception. It was easy to set up and install. We purchased a piece of 20' long 1 1/2" electrical conduit to mount it to. We have paired this up with Amazon Firebox and Netflix to be able to watch movies and other shows.
We purchased the antenna to get away from the rising cost of cable bills. When we received a bill for $175, that was the catalyst for change.

i get all the stations i was looking for,, this one is also made for vhf low which i didnt need so i could have gotten a physically smaller antenna that would have worked just as well for me because i only need vhf high and uhf,, do a test on tvfool.com and it will tell you what your local stations are and where they are in relation to you.
