Works with starlink's pipe adapter

I looked at several Chimney Mounts and read multiple reviews before purchasing this item. The complaints about the included instructions are valid - they suck. However, going on-line to the Channel Master web site provides a wealth of information (most important for me was how to attach the buckle to the strap - I do not find it to be intuitive, but the web site made it very clear). Several points: 1) The chimney I attached this mount to is stucco over concrete block - so the chimney is solid but the stucco can be problematic. To help protect the surface layer, I used 4" lengths of 1" aluminum angle (1/8" thick) on the three corners away from the brackets (which are 1&1/2" wide). 2) I was able to do the job by myself by using Paracord to hold the brackets. The chimney is 32" on each side (square) so I placed a loop over the long end of the bracket, ran the Paracord around the chimney and hooked it to the short end of the bracket. I then positioned the bracket and snugged up the rope. The Paracord has some "stretch" to it so I was able to place the aluminum angle under it on each corner and, with all pieces held in place, I ran the strap (pulled taut) around the chimney and fastened it to the bracket (I was amazed how well it all worked - my "Rube Goldberg" attempts are not always so efficient). Once the brackets were in place, I mounted the mast (10' of 1" EMT Conduit), used a level to verify that it was vertical (only slight adjustment was necessary) and tightened all hardware. Easy Peasy...

I needed to mount my big TV antenna outside. I wanted a gable mount, I felt this would solve the potential roof or chimney leaks caused by the other types. The only change I would recommend the manufacturer is to have another set of holes to have the lower piece a little closer together. With my pitch roof, half of the 5 foot mast was below the roof line. Depending on the height of your antenna, you might have to buy a second mast selection. One other thing, the lag bolts were a bit weak, I snapped the head off of one tightening it, so I replaced them all with stronger bolts. All in all, a good antenna mount that I can recommend.
