After I moved to the US and I was looking for a 'Spätzles Schwob' to make my Spätzle. I have the same at Home in Germany and I love it. The Spätzle were perfect and the tool is easy to clean.

My 20 year old son adores spaetzle so much he requested his own. He used it over Thanksgiving and it worked extremely well. Although it can't be put in the dishwasher, it is easily disassembled by taking out a pin which makes hand washing easy. This is the 3rd one I've tried and like it better than my mother's authentic one from Germany or mine.

I was excited to receive and use my new spaetzle maker, so made a NY Times Rye Spaetzle with cabbage and leeks recipe the night it arrived. The spaetzle maker was extremely easy to use and to clean. Very well made and heavy duty. My dinner was a great success, too! I can't imagine why I won't have and use this tool for the rest of my life.
