I already have a keychain of this (the Wizarding World one) that I use as a keychain, though would work as a necklace. It is larger, but less detailed, and has a plastic center instead of glass. If you want a durable Time Turner that you can wear whenever, that is the route I'd go.

That being said, I have coveted this official one for years and with my Christmas Amazon Gift Card I finally got it.

It is smaller than I expected, though if I'd read the specs closer I'd have known. I think it is closer to the movie size (can't remember offhand the size). The details are all really nice, which is why I wanted it (the keychain one is very nice, but it doesn't have the same level of details). The box is also great, and I keep it in that. I'm not sure if I'll ever really wear it for fear of it breaking, as I see many low ratings are because it has broken. It is a collectible and made of glass, so only so much of the blame can go to the manufacturers. It isn't intended for hard wear. The chain is fairly short, so I don't think it would be easy to bang it against anything (I have the 2013 one, not the old one - that one may have had a longer chain, I don't know though).

Overall, for a collectible it is fine and I am very happy with it. It is very pretty and nicely detailed. I don't have issues with the quality that some people have (I saw some people saying it was very cheaply made and so on), but then I think that may be people wanting to wear it as jewelry regularly. I plan to keep it in the case, so visually it looks great. Even physically the construction is nice. The only 'issue' I had with it was the writing is painted on or something instead of an imprinted or carved like in the movie. Not sure the font is the same I remember from the movie, either, but it has been a while since I've seen it, so that may just be my memory. Aside from that, I have no problems with it.

It is well constructed and worth the money

The child that received the Harry Potter Hermione's Time Turner was very excited to wear the necklace.

The person I bought it for loved it, she was so shocked but the first thing she said was I thought it would be bigger, But it is very beautiful very accurate and the case is nice it's just a little smaller than what I thought it was gonna be bigger, she loves it and after wearing it she understood why it was the size it was. But she said she loves it so I would definitely recommend it

This piece from the Noble Collection is a very nice replica of the one shown in the Harry Potter Movie's. I bought this for myself, I am 21, and have been a Harry Potter fan since I read the first book back in 5th grade. But, I have nothing to show for my being a fan, and it occured to me that all the movies have neat gadgets and magical pieces in them, which got me wondering where i could find a nice collectible or myself.

I found this piece, which has great reviews, and is neat because, depending on how comfortable you are sharing your crazy about harry potter personality, you can actually wear it yourself. I'm not 10 years old anymore, and I can't get away with carrying around a wand as much as I used to be able to, but this piece I can wear and enjoy.

It just arrived in the mail today, and it seems very sturdy, but as other reviews have said, I don't think this version would be a good toy for younger children. (I don't really understand why any parent would let their children play with a collectable in the first place, you wouldn't let them throw around your signed champoinship baseball, would you? (It's kind of like that.)
It is made of a nice lieghtwieght metal, the white-gold color is beautiful, and it turns very well, and moves as shown in the movie.
I was a little dissapointed with the star cut-out in my piece, they look sloppily cut-out, and the smaller stars are just imprints that look like they forgot to be cut-out. But unless your inspecting it thuroughly you wouldn't be able to tell. The words are nicely painted, mine has just a tiny bit of a pant drip on it. Doesn't look bad.

I have seen a lot of complaints about the glass breaking, you have to wear this as if it is glass... which IT IS. don't bang it on things, or smack it against anything, take care of it and i will stay in good shape, just like anything else.

I also see a lot of complaints about the box, I think it is nice, it is not real wood, and people need to realize that the reason this item costs so much, is because it is labeled a movie replica, and you are buying the Harry Potter name. if it were real nice metal, and a real tick wood display case, plus the Harry Potter name, you'd be looking in the hundreds... this is a fairly decent price, for a very nice replica.

I would recommend this to any older/ teenage Harry Potter fan, to wear or to display, but not to play with as a toy.
