so much better than shaving

This is my second one of these. so much better than shaving. It hurts a bit at first but once you get used to it. It's very tolerable. Especially on the legs. Underarms hurts a little more but worth it to have smooth skin and no stubble!

Love this product! I bought my first Emjoi epilator in 2006 and used it regularly. Actually I was surprised it lasted that long, so when the teeth finally came off a few weeks ago, I knew I wanted another of the same brand. This new model is even better than my old one was! A note for anyone who has never epilated: it is painful the first several times (maybe like a tattoo). The results are worth it though, I don't have to shave for another 3 months.

Same thing that others are reporting. I had another model that stopped working and I ordered this one thinking I would get the same quality. Wrong! It just doesn't work. Doesn't grip the hairs for some reason. Or I should say, it grips the hairs and tugs painfully but doesn't pull them out. Disappointing.
Not the best for facial hair.

I bought this product because I also have a battery operated Emjoi that I LOVE and I wanted a second unit for another living space. Well, this unit just isn't the same. It seems to be much more powerful than the battery operated one (that stands to reason), but it just doesn't work well on me for facial hair. As far as the product itself goes, the tweezers spin fine and the unit is held easily in the hand.
