Worked well. All I used was the regulator. Getting a charge but drained battery due to burned out diode in alternator. Go to auto stored and check your alternator, that would of saved me a lot of hassle. You would not think anything was wrong if alternator was charging, but I found out different.

for $11, a big savings and quick alternator repair, brushes and regulators usually go and just have to swap out.

It took about an 1.5 hrs and my alternator is up and running again!

This product fit my 2000 Ford Ranger XLT! My bearing was squealing just went ahead an replaced all the parts inside with this kit and its working just fine. The front bearing was a little bigger just slightly but it fit inside and I was able to do the repair myself. All of the mechanic shops around wanted to rebuild it completely or was way to costly. The main bearings themselves they sold which were over $40 a piece. This was the way to go highly recommended. Borrowed a pulley puller from a friend and everything else I had tools for. My Battery light on the dash of my '04 F250 was coming on whenever I pushed the truck over 3000 RPM and if you held the RPM's there sometimes the radio would shut off and all the meters on the dashboard would do the Watusi. Did the usual things first, i.e. belt, battery connections, alternator connections, etc. Every thing I read said it was the alternator gone bad but, back in the day I would have suspected the regulator. Since this kit included a new regulator with brushes and bearings for not much more than a regulator would cost I got it. The only problem I had was the included nuts didn't fit the assembly so, I had to use the old ones. Still working after driving it over 1000 miles.
