Nice color, very close to being a perfect matte black. Used for my rotors and rims!

So this is not "glossy" and NOT CLEAR. It put a white color over my calipers that were painted red, they looked like a milky pink after this, and I had to re do them. I'm not sure if this paint can expire, but it was not clear, that's for sure. I shook the van for a solid minute if not longer, and then I thought maybe it'll go clear after it dries. Nope. The can says clear, and the top is clear, but this paint is not. Do not buy this, it'll ruin whatever paint job your doing. I can't review the quality of the paint itself, as I had to re do my project entirely.

Product sprays out in large drops, messy, poor spray head.

Would not buy again. Rustolrum uniform spray, good paint, half the price.

I purchased this product for a brake job I did recently. While I replaced my pads I decided I wanted to paint the calipers to fend off rust and brake dust while adding that little bit of detail to my sweet ride.
I started with a black undercoat. Once dried I put on some vinyl stickers and painted over them with the gloss clear to protect them and help them last longer.
They've since been great and have showed no significant signs of wear. I always see my calipers peeking out from my wheels, and they've braved the tough Midwest salty roads.

This job was roughly 5 months ago, and the only wear is a slight peeling of one of the rings that I placed back down and painted over once more. Attached are a couple pictures of how it all turned out (mind the curb rash, the wheel was replaced a month ago).

I've used VHT sprays for a while and they have not dissapointed me at all. Great satin finish, as long as you do the right prep this product will last for a long time! A+
